Our most rugged wooden coffin. Made of solid red oak with raised panels, rope/block handles, and a wire brush texturing. The Homesteader is topped off with a dark oil finish to enhance the grains of the wood and give it an “Old West” appearance.
Add $150 for premium quality unbleached cotton muslin interior bedding and pillow. Select the "Interior? Yes" option above to add the standard interior.

While our standard versions of caskets and coffins are built from locally sourced wood, can be unfinished, and only have 30 screws (which are covered), we offer completely metal-free versions of each model - for Kosher or environmental reasons. These versions are also not built on the Sabbath. Click for 100% Green/Kosher version.
